XA70 Low Viscosity Hardener (Aliphatic Amines)
XA70 is a low viscosity blend of aliphatic amines that are highly reactive with glycidyl ether type epoxy resins, such as bisphenol A based epoxies.
XA70 may be used as a cure accelerator for slow reacting system formulations. It can also be used as an AEP (aminoethylpiperazine) substitute, it has a similar amine hydrogen equivalent weight as AEP, thus simplifying AEP replacement in many formulations. It has slightly faster reactivity than AEP, which
is often used at low levels in conjunction with hardeners such as JEFFAMINE® T403 or D230 amines. Incorporation of XA70 into these amines will greatly increase the reactivity of the hardener blend while providing a final Tg that is nearly unchanged, relative to the JEFFAMINE®
T403 or D230 amines hardeners.
